Project: Daughter’s Bedroom & Living Room Console — Rajesh Bafna Residence

This project was commissioned to us by JAD Arch Studio, as a part of the Rajesh Bafna Residence in Vadodara, focusing primarily on the daughter’s bedroom and a living room console.

Key Highlights:

1. Daughter’s Bedroom:

Entirely crafted in tones of white — an elegant mix of solid wood and cane.
- Four-poster bed with handwoven Malaysian Cane panel inserts.
- Coordinated nightstands and seating customized to complement the soft pastel palette of the space.
- TV console and study desk designed in classical aesthetics but finished in matte white for a contemporary yet timeless look.
- Subtle brass detailing in knobs & handles for added warmth.

The biggest challenge was achieving the perfect blend of white and antique finishes. Every wooden element you see was manually hand-polished layer by layer — a process not replicable by machine finishes. The final coat was applied through spray but the base and colour toning were entirely handcrafted.

2. Living Room Console:

The console was a true reflection of material purity and detailing.
- Completely made out of Burma Teak Wood — including drawers, carcass, and top.
- Handmade Ceramic knobs added an artisanal touch.
- Stainless Steel Frame with Brass PVD Coating — providing strength while adding a luxury accent.
- The wooden carcass was structurally lifted and supported by the steel frame itself.
