Detailed Storytelling

Executed in collaboration with P&D Associates, the Modi Residence in Bharuch was a highly detailed project that blended classic and contemporary sensibilities. Our focus was to deliver aesthetic and functional furniture across several living spaces including living, family, and dining rooms, along with several statement accents.

Scope of Work

  • Sectional sofa and coffee table for the living room
  • Solid wood-framed divider using 301-grade stainless steel and rattan panels, integrated with mirrors
  • Statement chair for the living space
  • 8-foot-wide media unit with concealed storage and soft cornering
  • Family room: veneered body sofa, kangaroo-style Pierre Jeanneret lounge chair, marble coffee table, and a sideboard

Dining Highlight

Dining table crafted with a robust 2-inch-thick solid wood top resting on a 12mm stainless steel base. This gave the piece a floating, modern appeal while being structurally sound.

Special Highlights

  • The mirrored divider with rattan and metal details served as both a visual break and an artistic statement
  • The sideboard in the family room was curated to complement the wall-mounted artwork above it
  • Carefully selected materials and finishes ensured the residence had a cohesive, luxurious yet grounded feel

This project demonstrated how material diversity — from solid wood and rattan to marble and stainless steel — can coexist beautifully when unified through thoughtful detailing and design collaboration.
