Detailed Storytelling

This project, titled 'THE ART HOUSE', was a unique blend of traditional design language executed using modern industrial techniques. We were commissioned by P&D Associates to fabricate and execute a distinctive kitchen and detailed bedroom furniture within a tight timeline of just one month.

Scope of Work

  • Artistic kitchen with a custom stainless steel island frame
  • Full bedroom furniture for all rooms
  • Custom fabricated steel grill with stone inlay in the master bedroom
  • Sheep-skin textured wall panelling in selected bedrooms

Key Highlights

  • The kitchen island frame was built using a combination of solid and hollow stainless steel sections. The design, though appearing classical, was fully executed using CNC-machined parts, precision-welded and mirror-finished in gold PVD coating. The challenge lay in adapting an old-world design to modern fabrication workflows, and the result was stunning.
  • In one master bedroom, we created a unique wall grill from fabricated steel finished in antique brass Best PU. A striking bottle-green granite inlay was fitted into the grill. This deep-toned granite, with subtle white veining, added understated elegance without reflecting too much light — a perfect complement to the brass-toned structure.
  • Sheep-skin textured wall panelling introduced tactile softness and warmth into the bedroom space, lending a touch of material luxury.

This project exemplified the intersection of craftsmanship, material exploration, and industrial precision — every element was visually rich, yet subtly executed.

Another striking element of the project lies in the staircase railing detail. We fabricated several hundred cup-like components — referred to as 'caps' — with a distinct finish strategy: a select few painted in glossy gold, while the majority were coated in matte black Acrylic PU. The result is a dynamic visual rhythm that complements the stairwell’s structural form. This staircase is undoubtedly one of the key highlights of the house and a must-see feature when browsing this project.

In addition to built-in and fixed furniture, we also supplied outdoor furniture for the gazebo area. While the client had limited involvement in the loose furniture selections for the living and dining areas, our team ensured that each piece matched the overall aesthetic and material narrative of the home.
