Detailed Storytelling
This residential project was commissioned by Josmo Studio, led by Anjali Mody and assisted by Aakanksha Sharma. Our responsibility was to manufacture and deliver a wide range of custom furniture with an emphasis on craftsmanship and design sensitivity. The execution spanned two and a half months and included multiple zones within the residence.
Scope of Work
- Dining table and chairs
- Living room sofa
- Bedroom bench and accent chair
- Two media units for different bedrooms
- A 13-foot-wide bed back panel in solid oakwood, integrated with wood panels and rattan weaving
- Hanging nightstands (3 feet wide) crafted from solid oakwood with fluted horizontal detailing on fascia
- Upholstered bed and platform with curved finishing for guest room
- Accent tables and a white console table for the entrance
Special Highlights
- Fabrics used across the residence were custom-designed by Josmo Studio, with standout application on the corner chair in the guest room
- The rattan-integrated oakwood panel system was developed for both visual appeal and material strength
- Close supervision by Aakanksha Sharma ensured every square inch of the furniture was reviewed for quality and detail
- The final output demonstrated how design sensitivity and local craftsmanship can blend seamlessly across scale and complexity
