Detailed Storytelling
This was a small yet meaningful project that came at the early stage of our journey. The Miraana Weekend Home was situated in the heart of the city, yet designed like a farmhouse, surrounded by lush mango trees and organic biodiversity. This space was essentially an outhouse with a pool-facing living room, meant for leisure and lightness.
Our scope of work included
- Living room sofas
- Living room armchairs
- A media unit
-
A storage cabinet with a unique design
- Dining chairs
The client was highly particular about fabric choices, and the armchairs turned out to be extremely elegant. A special highlight of the project was a distinctive storage cabinet with shutters made from recycled mixed wood — a patchwork of sleeper wood, teak, oak, saal, and other curated timber strips, each with its own history and texture. The resulting piece stood out for its character and environmental consciousness.
This project may have been modest in scale, but it reflected our philosophy — thoughtful, handcrafted furniture made with care and character, even when the budget and footprint were small.
