Detailed Storytelling

This home project for Chirag Intwala, executed in collaboration with P&D Associates, was a full-scale, detailed execution covering almost every functional and decorative element across outdoor, indoor, and transition spaces. The scale, detailing, and material diversity made it a benchmark for integrated furniture fabrication.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Scope of Work

• Outdoor furniture: Powder-coated aluminium fabricated chairs, designed and manufactured from scratch
• Staircase: CNC-machined elements combined with brass-coated PU finishing, and a full-size marble stair with integrated twisted metal accents
• Family Room: Entire furniture set, including a feature metal component and pendant lighting
• Entrance: 14-light pendant lamp, uniquely detailed shoe rack, and entrance console
• Wash area: Custom basin counter
• Living Room: Accented furniture pieces and coordinated decor elements
• Bedrooms: Full bedroom furniture suites, including beds, nightstands, and media units
• Bathrooms: All custom-made mirrors
• Rugs: Fully custom-designed rugs tailored to room dimensions and palette
• Coffee Tables: Multiple distinct coffee table designs

 

 

 

 

 

 

Special Highlights

• In the daughter's bedroom, a media unit crafted from hundreds of solid wood bars lined up with exact spacing, fixed between two planks set 2 feet apart — with a cantilevered central shelf
• In the son’s bedroom, a custom-designed bed back panel mounted on a plywood-laminated structure featured extended metal arms designed to hold and suspend two paintings as part of the wall feature
• The level of industrial precision in execution across the staircase, bedroom highlights, and family room accents demonstrates a unique harmony between old-world craftsmanship and modern fabrication techniques

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This project exemplified how deeply coordinated design, diverse materials, and technical execution can result in a truly customised living space — one that celebrates function, elegance, and bold design intent.
